Great pen. Nice sharp line. Nearly equivalent to a Japanese fine point as on a pilot prera but smoother and, perhaps, a slight bit wetter. I think that the comments regarding the ridge and the grip placement is not terribly relevant for me. I tend to hold the pen high enough that this factor doesn’t matter.They contacted FaberCastell several times to get answers to questions. The store made this pen purchase perfect. I will look to them for all of my future pen purchases where now I have established a good relationship.The Ambition has a great writing, and truly extra fine, stainless steel nib.It is also a very attractive pen.You hold it on the black part of the barrel, which is textured and comfortable. The nib is smooth and very fine. The whole thing looks and feels gorgeous.Love every bit of this pen! Not good qualityBuyers beware! This a beautiful pen with a fabulous nib. It is well balanced and a joy to write with. But like other buyers I have found it leaks between the section and the barrel and between the section and the feed. This not a pen for “write and go” it needs very careful handling. It is a nightmare to change the cartridge guaranteed to spread ink everywhere.I love pens and I have found a way of minimizing this disastrous state of affairs but it will only ever be a desk pen and I wanted a travel pen.Extra-fine nib makes writing on a wider range of paper a breeze (even standard quality copy paper). Slimline design and beautiful resin shaft make for a great writing experienceLa Faber Castell AMBITION di resina nera è bellissima, e nonostante il profilo del suo fusto sia cilindrico, senza rastremazioni o curve particolari, si impugna con grande comodità e stabilità. Il pennino Fine è a dir poco eccezionale per prontezza e costanza di flusso e tratto. È uno dei pochi modelli europei la cui sottigliezza e precisione di tratto erogato sia paragonabile alle misure di pennino delle penne giapponesi. Io ho notato che la finezza di tratto dei pennini che la Faber Castell monta sui suoi modelli LOOM, BASIC, ESSENTIO, AMBITION e E-MOTION, tutti simili alle misure giapponesi, è esaltata dall'uso di inchiostro fluidi come quelli standard DIAMINE. In tal caso il pennino Fine di questa AMBITION scrive più sottile di quello Extrafine della mia LOOM caricata con inchiostro Visconti. Devo inoltre aggiungere che questi pennini di acciaio inox scrivono secondo me meglio per scorrevolezza e nettezza di tratto di quello d'oro 18k montato su una mia pur splendida Graf con Faber Castell modello INTUITION. A giudicare da come scrive preferisco dunque questa sobria AMBITION, da me pagata usata circa 25 euro, a una bellissima INTUITION che costa però intorno a 14 volte di più (350 euro). Bella, economica ed efficiente dunque questa Faber Castell Ambition, nonostante tutte le critiche da "principessa sul pisello" al suo scalino tra impugnatura ed erogatore.La escritura es fina y muy buena, sin interrupciones. Demasiado fina, porque literalmente araña el papel y la sensación es muy desagradable, pero esto depende del tipo de papel que se esté utilizando. En papeles de gramaje de 80 es desagradable, pero en 90gr la escritura es muy fluida. De cualquier forma, recomiendo el punto 0.5 es mucho más suave.Ich mag diesen Füller. Ich nutze ihn um Vorlesungsaufzeichnungen anzufertigen und zwar schreibe ich zwei Zeilen pro ein kariertes Kästchen. Selbst derartig Halbzeiligschreiben geht ohne große Mühe und ohne Platznot. Und es sieht trotz der kleinen Schrift immernoch überwiegend weiß aus auf dem Blatt, weil die Striche sehr dünn sind.Weil er so dünn schreibt ist er auch nicht für größere Notizen und Striche geeignet, weil der Tintenfluss vermutlich zu wenig ist. Das äußert sich dadurch, dass er bei schnellen großen Strichen kratzt und die Linie unterbrochen gezeichnet ist.Das Design mit den harten Zylinderkanten gefällt mir sehr gut. Häufig sieht man ja sonst Designs, die größtenteils sind.Die Füllerkappe ist sehr schwer, aber der schwarze Körper ist federleicht, besteht also wahrscheinlich aus Plaste. Dadurch sind es zwei Extreme, ob man nun schreibt ohne die Kappe hinten aufzusetzen, oder mit aufgesetzter Kappe, womit man viel mehr Kraft braucht zum Schreiben.Egal ob man die Kappe hinten oder vorn aufsetzt, beiderseits kann man ein herzerfüllendes lautes Klacken vernehmen und spüren. Das heißt aber auch, dass der Verschluss ein wenig Kraft braucht und die Kappe dann wirklich festsitzt. Ich kann noch nicht sagen, ob dieser Verschluss mit der Zeit verschleißt, aber es macht auf jeden Fall den Eindruck, weshalb ich versuche ihn nicht allzu oft auf und zu mache.
