I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the durability of this set. Pic I took is after making 2nd set. I am new to resin and it was so much easier than I thought it would be! I made 2 sets within 24 hours of each other and demolded at 12 hours just to be sure. A couple of previous reviews allowed me to prepare for any troubleshooting that may be necessary. The tray mold... to be sure the resin got in well I used the toothpick u will need for the grinder and lift the lip of the mold as u pour - and after, going around the circumference to fill any air pockets u see. You have to be careful demolding at 12 hours with tray because it is still pliable (bendable) but i just laid face down on table and applied light pressure with hand n put up to fully cure. I also used toothpick to lift one end of mold and work around full edge lift lip from the curved end and mold comes right off with ease to prevent to much bend then laid on table to make sure level as I mentioned. Now the grinder(*update at end*) plus new pics.... a toothpick is definitely going to be ur bestie lol! I considered not adding color til pour as suggested but I’m notoriously hard headed (Taurus) so my 1st one(amber colored) the top was easier to see cause it’s thinner n I just poured despite seeing the reviews lol n stood over it stabbing at bubbles like my life depended on it! Same for the bottom piece but was less enthused at this point because of the depth of color I just had to wing the location n pray I got most of them. I guesstimate about 7 spikes didn’t fully form but my fault not the mold and they are very sharp despite the missing and break my herbs (as they say lol) up great! My black grinder I did a bit different I have a dropper from a candle kit (I’ll add pic) the tip is tiny n fits perfectly in holes I put toothpick in hole while filling individually n 2 or 3 stabs with toothpick as u remove once done fill rest of mold. I only missed 1 that time. So u can add color before pour but if so u should fill individually. The stash jar and lid were the easiest to pour. The jar is a little tedious to remove but u will get easier after the first time let the air get in as u release the mold and a slight twist pops right out. Grinder spikes won’t break but scary still so release edges then sit grinder side down n pinch sides of mold like a taco and it will release. And lastly I don’t see ppl mentioning alcohol to release bubbles? I’m sorry not using anyone’s lighter or flame near chemicals or my mold lol! I found 90% alcohol in spray bottle (never saw like that n so convenient) at my local Rite Aid. Spray over the molds after pour n u can see the bubbles disappear or raise to surface n pop with the pick. U can work the resin (popping bubbles I mean) lol in the mold for a good 20 min n no affect to resin there will be some super tiny bubbles but not so much where it takes away from the item itself n minor imperfections make it truly custom n that’s what my business entails. I will definitely buy again so I can make more than one at a time??! Hope this helps I feel reviews are super important! Almost forgot the most important which I can never find how much resin oz mean nothing when measuring cups come in ml smh so I used amazing clear cast resin which came with cups that measured 30 ml. the jar and lid took 2filled to the rim cups of parts A and B (so 4 ttl) and the same for grinder n tray it will appear like it’s not enough but it’s just right n no waste and the size resin 32oz 16+16oz I have I can get 3 sets out of easily! Now that’s a review!!? *Update I have this down to a science now! LOL. I did order another to handle the multiple requests grinder was a little warped but I manage ehh. Im adding update for those who may do this a a small business and may be pressed on time like i am. I pour the resin clear in the grinder now (less materials needed and less tedious)....just enough to cover the spike holes and then toothpick the bubbles then add my colored resin and mix with a popsicle stick or just dye to create an effect. I love them and my customers do to.. I took out pic of resin I used as Ive learned the brand is important and I have a new fav(SigWong) that has a true 30 min or so work time, its also pkgd to accommodate the weight difference of the 2 parts til u get to the gal - great for beginning resin users cause there wont be any excess! and crystal clear which is important when doing clear resin pieces some yellow over time. New pics are the last 5. Enjoy crafting and Go Bills!! :)I have only done the jar and it turned out amazing. I've used it twice now and I'm impressed with how clean the ridges come out. I use Art Resin. The first star I made the lid tightened perfectly in aligned amazingly. The second jar the lid didn't align perfectly but it did go on just fine, just not as tight as the original. I really wish I could buy more of just the jar so that I can make multiple at a time. I'll update again once I try the tray and grinder!Make sure to follow the easy tips when pouring the grinder mold. I used a toothpick to remove any air bubbles and also a torch for the "grindy teeth" part of the grinder. I thought all air bubbles were out,( they were not). If there is any air bubbles in the "tooth" part, the teeth will crumble and break. However, all and all I think my pour came out pretty good and useable. The grinder actually works and the Jar actually tightens. Lol I like it.Three molds seem sturdy and are easy to use. They arrived quickly. I will update here with photos once I have had a chance to try them. So far I am very happy with my purchase! The jar mold is easy to remove! Love itThe molds are very easy to use, they make a great set. The bottle itself is difficult to remove from the mold.love this mold! was a little confusing at first but here’s what you should know before hand:1- the tray mold will require a slow pour. if you pour it all in there quickly, it won’t have time to leak into the mold itself and will just spill all over itself2- in my opinion, the grinders need a day and a half to 2 days to work on. i filled the entire mold the first time and popped as many air bubble as i could see, but the end product had almost half of the spikes left with bubbles, leaving them dull. my recommendation is to pour just enough to cover the top where the spike holes are and make sure that each one is filled with no bubbles. wait about 3 hours and then finish pour the rest. and you pour into the spike holes each time!hope this helps!Great mold! Haven’t tried the plate yet but the grinder and the bottle came out pretty cool and functional :)I was suppose to get my 3pc resin tray set by Tuesday, but it arrived four days earlier which I’m excited about, I have used it as yet, but so far no damage to delivered packaged and mold seems pretty good✨ Can’t wait to use them!I liked what I got. I was confused on when to pour the epoxy resin. it would be good if maybe cleaning instructions on product would be good . Thanks muchly.Recommend itLos moldes están bien solo que todos los que e sacado del molde del fresquito no cierran parejo.
