Using this product to store some of my backyard patio items, cushions, etc.So far I have no noticed any water getting in either from rain or condensation.My only suggestion if you are considering on purchasing this item is to be sure you have a drill to make the screw holes slightly bigger or the screws will not screw in all the way easily. Other than that it was super easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow as well.I bought one of these to store my outside patio cushion when not in use about 4 year ago, Works very well, keep them clean. Kept it in the shade with a cover for like 2 years then moved to a new house and it sat outside in the sun all day for about 2 years now. Still standing strong. Perfect storage bin for anything outside, toys, pool stuff, etc. I actually bought another one for my pool toys. I did spray UV clear coat over the storage bin to protect from fading. O also did I mention good to use as a chair. Had friends over and good chair for kids and adults.Perhaps the best thing made out of plastic that I have ever purchased, certainly the best engineered and designed. Safely stores the cushions to our two recliners and four deck chairs. And they are comfy warm when we take the cushions out.This storage box is made entirely of plastic with no dura-wood components. It is lightweight but I suspect it will hold up well against the weather. It isn't super sturdy but strong enough to hold my garden hoses and other similar stuff. I am pleased and even ordered a second one.Storage capacity is ideal for me! Keeps the grandkids balls and toys, etc., high and dry and easy accessible!Three years into ownership and this box has held up well. It has light use - storing patio cushions during inclement weather - with an occasional planter on top. Able to fit the backs and cushions from two patio chairs and a loveseat inside. While I wouldn’t say it’s fully weatherproof, cushions have been dry thru three years of Midwest snow, rain, and winds. It’s served as a behind the couch bench and a simple storage box on our patio.It’s huge and not an eyesore.Good looking, as far as resin storage boxes go, and very sturdy! People can actually sit on this storage box if needed. I liked it so much, that I bought a second storage box for pool chemicals.This was just what I expected. Excellent size. Hasn't rained since assembled, but I think it will be waterproof as the lid covers all the sides.Worth every penny. This deck box is HUGE. Easy to assemble, and sturdy.Edited to add: I paid $55 more than what is currently listed, no less than 20 days ago. That’s the downfall of buying on Amazon - most brick and mortar stores will honour a price for 30 days and refund you the difference.Absolutely perfect. So big the kids got in it to play and they're 3 teenaged girls. Lol. Worth every penny. Arrived quickly and was not too hard to assemble. Very sturdy. Waterproof. There have been some heavy rain storms and no water at all inside. Used as an outdoor furniture cushions storage and all fit perfectly.We put our deck furniture cushions and pillows in it We have 10 (6-lrg and 4-small) chairs and the box will hold them all. This has been a wonderful addition to our outdoor living space.This bin is exactly as described. Easy to assemble, strong, and water proof. I keep my charcoal in it, and a few other things, and have no trouble.Took about 30 mins to assemble with minimal tools. Looks great and does the job. The only reason I deducted a star was that I still saw minor gaps at the joints so I am concerned bugs and water can still sneak in but my Husband put brown caulking to fill in any holes. Also, the hydraulic doesn't help the slamming of the cover so I am a bit concerned for our toddler - just need to keep an extra eye when closing the bin.
