I had to hacksaw 3 screws, they bend and strip easily, bought screws at Lowes much easierI’ve used this for a few months and it’s holding up really nicely! It’s under a porch so it does get some elements but not full-on 24/7 sun, wind, rain. It’s comfortable and I sit in it every day. Folding it up is a joke and nearly worthless because it doesn’t really save much space.YOU WILL NEED A POWER DRILL and socket set! The included wrench and screwdriver are an absolute joke. They look like toys. I would have NEVER got the first set of screws in without drilling a hole first. The instructions are like “Ah, just use this crappy screwdriver to make holes in the arms.” No chance without a drill!Otherwise, it’s sturdy and looks really nice! Sits low to the ground which I also enjoy. A pleasant surprise once assembled (which took about 2 hours).sturdy and solid great purchaseThe chair was easy to assemble, it took me about 15 minutes, the instruction included was helpful and easy to follow. It was sturdy and very well made, I was considering to purchase more!As former owner of bike shop and life long mechanically inclined individual, it is impossible to put these together with the subpar hardware and laughable tools.I first attempted to put together the chairs at my rental property without bringing my own tools…no chance. You need a drill motor, drill bit, 10mm socket, 10 mm closed end, a good set of allen wrenches…not the crap they give you.We tried to fully tighten many of them while continually backing off and retightening. Ultimately we replaced most of hardware with higher pieces purchased from home depot.I tried to explain all of this to the barely speaking English Amazon customer service rep and they’re not working with me at all do not buy these as they are impossible to return and Amazon is not taking the side of the customer on this one see the cracked piece on the back of one of the chairs that was received that way. Also see the missing screw on one of the slats for another chair. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time (which will be a lot of it) and money for something that’s trying to imitate a higher quality unit.We looked long and hard for the perfect chairs. I love these! I can sit and dangle my toes in the pool. There were some issues with the hardware but the seller was great and sent a replacement. Shipping we quick and we are very happy with the chairs.
