I really love the leaf design! That's why I bought them. I already had curtain rods with decorative ball ends and later decided to get holdbacks. Unfortunately, the Montevilla Beme International Leaf Ball Double curtain rods, do NOT have a matching set of holdbacks. The color on my rods is called vintage bronze. I knew these "rubbed bronze" holdbacks would not match exactly, but since the leaf design complemented the design on my curtain rod ends, I thought it would work. Problem is that these are in NO WAY Bronze or even bronze looking. And nothing "rubbed" about them. They are just metal painted with a very dark, flat brown paint. It almost looks black. I had to go back to my order to make sure I hadn't made a mistake and ordered black. I have included pictures showing the holdback and then one of it next to my antique bronze curtain rod. The lighter areas on the leaf holdback are reflections from my overhead light. There is no variance of color on the holdback - just semi flat dark brown paint. However, if you love the design (like I do) and just want a very dark browninsh/black finish, then these will work for you.Finish and quality is kinda meh. I bought a couple sets for a living room and I guess you get what you pay for. These were much cheaper than the ones at the box stores but the paint on them was mediocre at best. It saved me half from buying the same quality at a local store though, so 4 stars will do. If I wanted more, I would be 50/50 on buying these again.Serves their purpose which is to hold some curtains back covering a sliding glass door. I wouldn't call them "quality", but they're decent. Hollow tubing which makes them feel very light and flimsy. Probably wouldn't buy again honestly.Looks very niceNice hardware, looks great!Plastic!These would hold back heavy drapes, and although I need them for only a gauzy curtain, I love the color and the style which was out of stock for awhile, but eventually back.
