• I bought it as a secondary watch for hiking, skiing or any other activity when I want to leave Apple Watch behind and don't worry about charging or scratching/damaging an expensive smartwatch.• Looks extremely good in this basic black version, I like that there is no text on the watch face and blue backlight color.If you like minimalist design you’ll love this watch. I decided on a different model which is a bit lighter. The display is a tad hard to read which I dislike.Don’t get me wrong. I like the watch. What I don’t like is that the strap isn’t long enough. I’m on the second from last hole of wrist strap. Looked for longer strap for the watch but couldn’t locate. So now it just sits in the tin can it came in.This replaced my 6 year old G-Shock that finally decided to go sleep and not wake up.I must say, it was difficult to part with it, but after buying this new watch, I have no regrets.Per usual, G-Shock has engineered a watch that suits my active lifestyle, and it does it very well.Over the past several months the watch has sustained several impacts and repeated exposure to moisture (I often work out and shower with it on), yet this watch continues to do what Casio designed it to do.The light button is a vast improvement from my previous one, and the face resists scratches very well.My only complaint is the "Adjust" button; for some reason, it does not protrude like the other three buttons, and it is very difficult to use without taking the watch completely off, or using an object like a pen to depress it. This is not a deal breaker, and I am certain there was a reason for this setup.G-Shock is an excellent choice if you live an active lifestyle and need a dependable, long lasting, and sharp-looking time piece.The watch was delivered as advertised, new packaging and clean. The all black looks great if that what you're looking for but be prepared because the inscriptions on the watch are all black as well and even in broad daylight are difficult to read or see. The black back-lit display makes it difficult to see the time at dusk and close to impossible after dark (hence the light). I really like these watches though, they're tough and useful for day-to-day activity and the all black gives this watch a sleeker and more refined look that traditional G-shock designs when it comes to their digital line-ups. I had a very similar model for three years that i used almost everyday and never gave me any issues. I ended up giving it to a family member and decided to purchase this one, I'm sure I'll get the same longevity and more from this one. Casio has it figured out.So I ordered this watch and the main reasons were, 1) Casio is one of the best, durable and looks good. And it's all black. 2) mostly importantly tho the description didn't state it I did question whether is was atomic timekeeping. And was told yes.However, in the few days I've had it, I've seen no evidence of the atomic timekeeping feature. I put it in the window, even wore it outside for a couple days. But it doesn't read a signal like the Casio watch I already have. I'm seriously considering return it. For the price I expected better, unless someone can tell me something I don't yet know and getting thru to Casio isn't fun.Will most definitely change rating if I learn something that make this watch works. I'd really like to keep itNot much I can say about this. Even with the negative display it reads pretty well and the light is pretty good. The features are basic: alarm/hourly time signal, 24 hour countdown timer, and 24 hour stopwatch. I really love the blacked-out stealthy look. And like all G-Shocks, it is tough as nails and it is 200M water resistant. A linha G Shock é projetada para ser resistente em condições adversas, o vidro de cristal mineral é bem resistente e é protegido pela caixa de resina, que possui uma pequena elevação com relação ao vidro para absorver impactos.Botões são bem acessíveis e o botão de iluminação fica muito bem posicionado para um acionamento rápido.As funcionalidades e complicações são básicas, alarme, alarme de data específica, aviso de hora cheia, timer, timer regressivo, exibição de data, exibição de dia da semana.Um relógio excelente e com bom custo benefício, além de ser um G Shock original, que suporta imersão de 200 metros.Ammmazing looks and performance!!Undoubtedly the best looking watch in the price range. GoForitUPDATE AFTER 1 YEAR: I wear it everyday, Watch is still great and very resistant from rains. One flaw I found is that the dust gets accumulated on the strap very easily. Gets harder to clean sometimes. But over all I would give it 4 1/2 stars for its performance and reliability.muito bonito aparentemente, a encomenda veio bem embalada e o relogio veio ne uma caixa de lata da Cassio Gshok. Gostei de mais, amo relogios! Só um detalhe eu uso mais relógios que tenham a caixa maior que os normais e esse Gshok tem a caixa de um tamanho normal mas nada que o desqualifique porque apesar de gostar de relogios bem grandes esse é bem bonito e fica muito bem no pulso.O produto vem bem embalado, na caixa original de lata da casio gshock. Vem com garantia internacional, o relógio vem acolchoado numa espuma, tudo certinho. Fica perfeito no pulso. RECOMENDO!
