The Led Light is bright in the night and the day. Its comfortable. Buy itI have used versions of this watch for about a decade. The only real downside is the bands which eventually break (and to my knowledge cannot be replaced). The current bands are MUCH better than the ones from 10 years ago but when they break the watch becomes unusable which is a bummer since the rest of the watch usually is still fine. I am admittedly hard on my watches, typically never taking them off. So far has kept really good time.This is a nice watch. I love the color of the band and the display. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the the description says it has a countdown timer. This watch does not have that, and this is the reason I bought it.I absolutely love watches, from expensive ones that range to $300 (Apple watches, Withings, etc) to fairly cheap functional watches like this one. One of my favorites was a $20 dollar watch similar to this one but white and lasted 6 faithful years (through thick and thin, saunas, workouts, cats lol) until the battery couldn’t even be replaced. I wanted a watch that looked like the one I had but black, and that is sleek, fits every occasion, has a light mode (I like to check the time right before I drift off to sleep), lightweight, water resistant, simple and durable. I was and am surprised about how much I love this watch!! I spent hours looking for a watch that isn’t bulky, is high quality both looking wise and feel wise, fits my tiny bone-like wrist, and of course has all the features I want that aren’t too crazy. I also love the design of it, a step up from my older watch which was a white marathon watch. I definitely recommend it!! :)I like that this watch is easily cleaned and keeps time well.This is my favorite watch on the planet. I bought one two years ago and subjected it to a summer of dirt, high temperatures, river water, dust, sweat, general scrapes and bumps, and then another two years of regular life (so basically the same stuff but not at a summer camp). The strap finally cracked a few weeks ago, and I searched for a new watch to update my wardrobe, since I no longer work at a summer camp, but I couldn't find a single other watch that had the same features, the same scooby doo colors, or the same comfort I felt with this watch on my wrist. I was forlorn, yearning for my heart's true watch. After weeks of upset and detachment from time and space, I bought the exact same model, and I am once again complete. The peace I feel while wearing this watch is indescribable, but I am pleased to know that life doesn't get much better than this.The watch has a nice translucent color, looks nice and is comfortable to wear. As for the other comments about it not working after a couple of months, one thing I would suggest is for the company to keep it turned off until it arrives to the customer. Because I received mine on, and who knows how much battery is used or how long it's been on for prior to me purchasing it.Update: Only 2 years later the button for the light stopped working. I like checking the time when I wake at night, and now I can't. So disappointing. I've taken two stars off for that, since it is an important function for me with a digital watch.A nice watch, great colour, works well. Time and date is easy to see, and the blue light that helps you read it in the dark is bright and clear. I also like that the shade of purple is dark-ish so that it doesn't discolour right away. All I needed in a watch was a countdown timer and this watch DOES NOT have one. If you need one, do not get this watch. Otherwise, it's a good watch.The watch was only ok for what you pay for it. The plastic is ridged. Not a great looking watch and the numbers are very small on the display.
